New poll from USDT Casino ranks the biggest summer turn-offs – from crusty feet to sweaty shoes
A new survey by USDT Casino has uncovered the ultimate summer “icks” – the seasonal habits and fashion fails that Brits say are a total turn-off.
In the nationally representative poll, 2,500 UK adults were shown a list of 20 common summer habits and asked to rate each one from “Not a problem” to “Major ick.” The results? Let’s just say… flip-flop season isn’t looking good.
From cracked heels in sandals to socks and sliders, Brits are surprisingly brutal when it comes to what puts them off during the warmer months – and dirty fingernails took the crown as the number one ick.

A spokesperson for USDT Casino said:
“Summer’s meant to be your hot girl/boy/non-binary era – but these results show just how quickly the vibe can die if your feet, sweat patches, or fingernails aren’t sorted. Some of these are fixable in minutes… others should probably be banned.”
The research also revealed that 42% of Brits have gone off someone because of a summer-specific ick, and 1 in 5 (21%) have actually ended a date early due to how someone presented themselves in the heat.
So if you’re planning on pulling this summer? Start with clean nails, wear actual socks, and maybe leave the sliders at home.
