This year, the Christmas classic of ‘chestnuts roasting on an open fire’ will swap to Fairfields Farm’s fryers as the award-winning artisan crisp producer is bringing festive cheer to snack aisles with the launch of its Christmas crisps: Honey Roasted Chestnut & Sage flavour. Set to hit shelves from October this year, the limited-edition seasonal special blends nostalgic Christmas comfort with a contemporary twist, inspired by the popularity of vegan nut roasts seasoned with a delicious sweet and herby taste.

This brand-new flavour replaces Fairfields Farm’s Maple Glazed Ham, which has been the brand’s festive staple for the past three years. Designed to appeal to evolving consumer tastes, Honey Roasted Chestnut & Sage flavour continues the brand’s commitment to crafting 100% vegan-friendly and gluten-free snacks. This shift began in 2022 with Fairfields Farm’s entire range relaunch.

Made using the farm’s homegrown crisping potatoes and natural ingredients, which are free from major allergens, the new flavour perfectly balances the sweetness of a honey-roasted chestnut flavour with aromatic notes of sage, delivering a moreish blend of savoury and sweet that’s ideal for festive sharing occasions and cosy nights in.

This marks Fairfields Farm’s second new flavour launch of 2025, following the introduction of its bold and savoury Chorizo & Red Wine flavour crisps, which are set to hit shelves in May.

Robert Strathern, co-founder of Fairfields Farm, said: “Christmas is all about those comforting, nostalgic flavours, and we knew we had to create something that lived up to the love our Maple Glazed Ham flavour received over the years. Honey Roasted Chestnut & Sage flavour is a celebration of the festive season—it’s sweet, herby, and absolutely delicious. We’re incredibly proud of what our team has created, and we can’t wait for our customers to try it. Just make sure you grab a bag before they’re gone!”

Fairfields Farm’s limited-edition Honey Roasted Chestnut & Sage crisps will be available in 150g sharing packs from October this year. Shoppers can find them via selected retailers, wholesalers, Amazon, and Fairfields Farm’s website.
